St Matthews Churches and Religous History

The Cathedral of Saint Matthews congregation during a service; Saint Matthews Church does not participate in mail scams. Although we take religious freedom for granted here in this country, we should not do so. Saint Matthews Church believes it should be valued as one of our most precious rights.

We have sometimes had the press take sides against, mock and ridicule Saint Matthews beliefs and accuse St Matthews Churches of mail scams. Some articles have been slanted in favor of the reporters favorite church in accusing Saint Matthews Church of a mail scam. We hold no grudges against them. Many who try to report about religion are not educated about the role religion plays in the lives of millions all over the world. There have been cases when a television producer or newspaper editor did a piece that lacked foundation and mentioned mail scams.

Although some of those who attack religions do not even own a copy of the Bible, the Koran, or the Torah, they say whatever they choose as though well read in all of the Sacred Texts. They say whatever they think their readers will allow them to say. Perhaps they think they can kick the Christian Church around because our founder, Jesus Christ, taught forgiveness. Thus, they feel secure when making fun of, mocking, or claiming mail scams about Christian symbols of faith, such as those the Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Episcopalians, Pentecostals and St Matthews Churches use.

Saint Matthews Church is not the only church which has been targeted for attacks like mail scams. All religions in America, especially the Roman Catholics, have been persecuted. The windows in the Philadelphia main Catholic cathedral had to be put up high to keep vandals from breaking them. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) were driven from state to state, and some were killed, before they finally settled permanently in Utah.

If you do not feel that the half-century-old Saint Matthews Churches is meeting the needs in your life, then thank God that this is America, and that you are free to worship anywhere you choose. Above all, get into a good Bible-believing church, St Matthews Churches or a Christian church in your neighborhood and worship God faithfully.
